YUSAI Series “FIVE WINDOWS MID ~Pluralist Garden” Bracelet model [VM07-M01TTG-SSB]

The WINDOWS case was always about looking at a garden from indoors. MINASE's YUSAI dial “FIVE WINDOWS MID ~Pluralist Garden” takes that idea at its word and puts the garden on the dial.

YUSAI is the series MINASE created with the artist Towa TAKAYA to mark the brand's twentieth anniversary. She paints every dial by hand, using pigments she prepares herself from soil, plants and cosmetic ingredients sourced in the regions she researches, layering them into color that fluctuates with the light and the angle of view.

For this dial she drew on her Cherry Blossom Series, describing layered gradations that harmonize with light filtering through the WINDOWS structure and evoke blossoms trembling with the ripples of water and the stir of a gentle breeze, all suffused with a luminous blue-green. The FIVE WINDOWS Mid case is designed to feed it exactly that light: sapphire panes in the front, the flanks and the display back admit daylight from several directions onto the dial plate. Stainless steel, 32 mm wide, 40.3 mm long, 11.6 mm thick with the crystal, on the MORE bracelet that comes apart for hand re-polishing. Self-winding KT8001 calibre, Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base, date, 5 atm.

MINASE positions this case as unisex, and the blue-green makes that easy to believe.
