THE COLLABORATION

New York’s Watch Club Meets Japan’s Quiet Masters

Gotham Watch Club is New York City’s collector community — founded in 2024 on a simple creed: friends, watches, community. For its first MINASE collaboration, the club chose the MASTER CRAFT J3, the purest expression of Japanese hand-finishing, and gave it a dial as loud as the city it calls home.

Only 25 pieces will be made, offered exclusively through Tempus Takumi, MINASE’s authorized US dealer. The pre-order closes once all 25 pieces are ordered — shipping is scheduled to start Holiday 2026.

FLAME ORANGE SAND DIAL

Ember by Day. Blue by Night.

The Flame Orange Sand Dial is exclusive to this edition — MINASE’s signature finely grained sand texture, fired in an orange that shifts from ember to amber as the light moves across it. Sharp-cut applied markers rise in crisp relief, and both markers and hands carry blue luminous material: a cool, quiet glow rising out of the flame orange ground.

Turn it over and the watch declares where it belongs. The Sallaz-polished case back carries the Gotham Watch Club trefoil at its center, ringed by GOTHAM WATCH CLUB · NEW YORK CITY and the marks of its making: MASTER CRAFT / SERIES J3, JAPAN MADE, stainless steel, 5 bar.

Gray Alcantara, Stitched in Flame

Each piece ships on an 18 mm Strapestry strap in gray Alcantara — soft, feather-light, and stitched in flame orange to echo the dial. Quick-release spring bars mean it comes off in seconds, no tools required, whenever you want to change the watch’s character.
