Uruga 42 Bracelet Model [UG03-M01NGR-SSB]
Green against polished steel is a combination that flatters both. The URUGA 42 on its bracelet gets the balance right because the dial gradates and the case does not.
MINASE draws that gradation from the Minase River, which runs through the Akita valley where the company works, and lays it horizontally across the dial so the green shifts as the wrist moves. The case around it uses the clamping structure introduced with URUGA in 2023: four voluminously cut, elaborately faceted clasps holding case and sapphire crystal together, following the logic of a prong setting in jewelry. Their mirror faces come from Sallaz hand-polishing, a Swiss-origin method in which each plane is worked flat so the reflection stays true and the edges stay sharp.
This reference wears the green dial on the steel bracelet, which keeps the whole watch cool and lets the color read as the only warm element. The case is 42.0 mm wide, 48.0 mm long including the lugs and 10.2 mm thick with the crystal. The self-winding MINASE calibre KT7002, built on a Swiss ETA 2892 and Sellita SW300 base and finished in Akita, provides the time and the date.
At 5 atm it is rated for rain and splashes only. A green dial with this much steel around it stays interesting without ever shouting.
Perfect for: green dial steel bracelet watches, hand-finished Japanese automatics, buyers wanting a distinctive dial color.
