URUGA 31 Leather Model "Stone-clamped (Diamond)" [UG02-CGYNWH-SSBD]

White dial, gray leather, diamonds in the clamps. This URUGA 31 is the softest-spoken configuration in the collection and the most jewelry-like.

MINASE designed the URUGA line around the way a stone is held in a setting. Four separately faceted clasps grip the case and the crystal at the corners of the bezel, which is both the structure and the decoration, and the sapphire above them carries a slight vertical curvature that catches light along its length. Sharp cuts meet smooth curves throughout, which is the contrast the brand set out to build the watch on.

Here the Stone-clamped treatment adds diamonds, and the white dial keeps everything bright and legible behind them. That dial is patterned with a horizontal gradation taken from the glittering, slow-moving water of the Minase River in Akita, and the indices are obliquely cut, a detail inspired by the front of a kimono.

The case measures 31 mm across, 39 mm from lug to lug and 9.9 mm thick, on a gray leather strap. Inside, the self-winding KT8001 with date, a Swiss ETA 2671 and Sellita SW100 base finished and decorated in MINASE's own workshop. Water resistance is 5 atm.
