Uruga 31 Bracelet Model "Stone-clamped (Diamond)" [UG02-M01NGY-SSBD]

On a steel bracelet, the URUGA 31 becomes one continuous run of polished and brushed surfaces, and the Stone-clamped version adds diamonds to that run.

The case is held by four separately faceted clasps that grip case and crystal together, a construction MINASE lifted from the prong settings used to hold gemstones in jewelry. It is the structural idea behind the whole URUGA line, and it is also why a diamond-set version feels consistent rather than decorated after the fact.

The gray dial keeps the collection's horizontal gradation, a pattern drawn from the Minase River in Akita, and its indices are cut obliquely after the front of a kimono so their light wavers as the watch moves. Sallaz hand-polishing, a discipline of Swiss origin that MINASE revived and adapted, gives the case and bracelet distortion-free mirror surfaces and edges that stay sharp where two planes meet.

The case measures 31 mm wide, 39 mm long and 9.9 mm thick. Inside, the self-winding KT8001 with date, built on a Swiss ETA 2671 and Sellita SW100 base and finished by MINASE. Rated 5 atm.
