Teutonia IV Moonphase — Anthracite Dial / Black Croc-Embossed Calf Leather
Gold-plated hands over an anthracite dial, on black croc-embossed calfskin: the most formal way the Teutonia IV Moonphase is offered.
Mühle-Glashütte introduced the model in 2019 as its first moon phase watch and built the display around legibility rather than novelty. A disc of about 10 mm at 6 o'clock bears two moons and rotates once per 59 days, so the phase moves forward one clear step each day, and the craters are realistically rendered rather than merely suggested.
The Teutonia IV case is 41.0 mm wide, 12.6 mm high and 51.4 mm lug to lug, with a beveled bezel, a vertically satin-finished middle section and polished volute-shaped lugs; the dial is finely grained, with hand-applied polished indices. Central seconds, date at 3 o'clock. The automatic SW 280-1, Version Mühle carries the shock-resistant woodpecker neck regulator Mühle patented in 2003 and offers 41 hours. Steel folding clasp, anti-reflective sapphire, exhibition caseback, 10 bar.
A dark, quiet watch with one bright detail at the bottom of the dial.
Perfect for: black leather moon phase watches, dark dial dress watch buyers, gold-accented automatic watches.
