Teutonia II Small Second — Midnight Blue Dial / Steel Bracelet
A subsidiary seconds hand is the clearest proof a watch is running. On the Teutonia II Small Second it turns at 6 o'clock, directly opposite the brand's name.
Mühle-Glashütte designed the dial around that vertical axis, describing the arrangement as off center but not out of balance, and left the rest uncluttered: hand-applied polished indices, bright nickel-plated hands, a date window at 3. The Teutonia II collection has carried the brand's business-watch identity since 2002.
The midnight blue dial here is ray-cut and mounted in a 41.0 mm steel case, 13.0 mm high and 51.5 mm lug to lug, on a 195 mm stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp for 185 grams on the wrist. Behind it, the SW 260-1, Version Mühle automatic offers 41 hours and carries the shock-resistant woodpecker neck regulator, a Glashütte swan-neck development Mühle patented in 2003. Anti-reflective sapphire, exhibition caseback, 10 bar.
Substantial without being large, and legible in any light. This is the version to buy if you never want to think about strap changes.
Perfect for: blue dial steel bracelet watches, small seconds automatic buyers, everyday German watch shoppers.
