Teutonia II Medium — Midnight Blue Dial / Steel Bracelet
At 47 grams bare, the Teutonia II Medium is a genuinely light mechanical watch. On its steel bracelet it gains presence without gaining bulk.
Mühle-Glashütte frames 34 mm plainly: the smallest dimensions that still read clearly on a more delicate wrist, and a watch that is not there solely for decoration. The Teutonia II family it belongs to has been the brand's business-hours collection since 2002, and the Medium gets the same construction as its larger siblings.
The midnight blue dial is ray-cut, shifting from deep navy to bright in the light, and the polished hour indices are applied by hand above volute-shaped lugs. Bright nickel-plated hands, central seconds, date at 6. The case is 34.0 mm wide, 11.7 mm high and 44.3 mm lug to lug, on a 185 mm stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. The SW 200-1, Version Mühle automatic runs 41 hours with woodpecker neck fine regulation, and the exhibition caseback shows it working. Anti-reflective sapphire, 10 bar.
An all-steel watch for someone who wants mechanics without a large case, and no strap to replace later.
Perfect for: small steel bracelet watches, blue dial automatic buyers, everyday 34 mm watch shoppers.
