Teutonia II Chronometer — Silver Dial / Steel Bracelet
A certificate is a strange thing to buy. It is also the reason the Teutonia II Chronometer exists: written proof that this particular watch was measured and passed.
Mühle-Glashütte has it tested at the Glashütte Observatory against DIN 8319, Germany's chronometer standard, across 15 days, five positions and three temperatures, with an average daily rate inside minus four to plus six seconds. The watch itself belongs to Teutonia II, the collection that took the brand public in 2002 and still wears its silver guilloché dial and hand-applied polished indices.
This is the bracelet version: 195 mm of stainless steel on a folding clasp, 171 grams all in, around a 39.0 mm case just 11.9 mm thick and 49.2 mm lug to lug. Blackened hands, applied indices, central seconds, date at 6. The SW 200-1, Version Mühle automatic carries Mühle's woodpecker neck fine regulation and stop-seconds, with 41 hours of reserve on view through the exhibition caseback. Anti-reflective sapphire, 10 bar.
Compact, certified and self-contained. This is the kind of watch that gets worn daily for years rather than admired occasionally.
Perfect for: DIN 8319 chronometer collectors, steel bracelet dress watch buyers, everyday automatic watch shoppers.
