Sportivo Travel GMT — Black Dial / Black and Blue Canvas and Rubber

The canvas on this Sportivo Travel GMT strap began life as marine plastic. SEAQUAL yarn is spun from 100 percent recycled PET, some of it recovered from the sea.

It is a fitting material for the Sportivo Travel GMT, part of the family Mühle-Glashütte introduced in 2024. The second time zone is read by a discreet arrow hand against a raised ring carrying a 24-hour scale, driven by the SW 330-2, Version Mühle automatic with 56 hours of reserve. This is a caller GMT, sometimes called an office GMT: the 24-hour hand is adjusted independently to track home or a colleague's time zone, while the local hour hand stays where it is. It is the configuration that suits someone who works across time zones more than someone constantly crossing them.

The dial is black with light blue accents beneath a bidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic inlay, and the date sits at 3 o'clock. The 42.5 mm stainless steel case measures 11.4 mm tall with a 50.2 mm lug-to-lug, and the black and blue canvas-and-rubber strap fastens with a steel pin buckle at 22 mm. Double anti-reflective sapphire, screw-down crown, exhibition caseback, 30 bar. Applied indices and hands carry Super-LumiNova.
