SEVEN WINDOWS "YUKI-HIRA Dial" Leather model [VM15-CDBYWH-SSD]
The whole point of a white YUKI-HIRA dial is that it hides nothing. Every hammer mark in the SEVEN WINDOWS dial is visible, and on leather the watch reads quieter than the same dial on steel.
MINASE grows that pattern into the dial by electroforming instead of printing it, which is why it holds shadow. The brand describes the result as pristine and luminous, reminiscent of a snowfield, and says its expression changes in countless ways with the angle of the light. It is one of four colors in the YUKI-HIRA family, alongside blue, green and ice blue.
The case behind it is the collection's signature: a square body cut into six facets with the crown split into two at the side, seven sapphire panels in total, and a sharp ridge running around the profile that MINASE likens to the edge of a Japanese sword. Its exterior is built to be dismantled, repolished and reassembled rather than replaced.
Steel, 37.4 mm wide and 46.5 mm long, 13 mm thick with the crystal, about 89 grams on the leather strap. Self-winding KT7002 with date, 5 atm.
Perfect for: white dial dress watches, leather strap Japanese automatics, buyers who want a watch that can be refinished for decades.
