SEVEN WINDOWS "YUKI-HIRA Dial" Bracelet Model [VM15-M01YWH-SSB]
White dials usually flatten under bright light. The SEVEN WINDOWS in white YUKI-HIRA does the opposite, because there is no print on it to flatten.
MINASE forms the dial by electroforming, growing a traditional Japanese hammered pattern into the surface so that the design is relief rather than ink. The brand describes the effect as reminiscent of a snowfield, and in white that reading is immediate: a bright, even field that only reveals its thousands of small dents when the light comes in at an angle.
Around it stands the architecture the collection is named for. The square case carries six faceted panes and the crown is split into two on the side, making seven sapphire windows in all, so the dial is lit from several directions at once. A separate inner case holds the movement, and the hour markers sit on a ring above the dial where they seem to float.
The steel case is 37.4 mm across, 46.5 mm long including lugs and 13 mm thick with the crystal, worn here on the MORE bracelet. Inside, the self-winding KT7002 with date, built on a Swiss base and finished by hand in Akita. Rated 5 atm.
Perfect for: white dial automatic watches, buyers who like texture over print, hand-finished bracelet watches.
