Perigraph – white/gold

White with gold is the most formal face the Perigraph wears. It also happens to be the clearest, because a bright dial gives MeisterSinger's rotating date ring the contrast it likes best.

The Perigraph takes its name from the Greek for writing around, and that is exactly what happens here. A fully open ring turns in the center of the dial carrying numerals for odd dates and markers for even ones, read against a small fixed red arrow at 12 o'clock, and it jumps to the next date at midnight without a window in sight. Time is shown by one long heat-blued hand on a five-minute scale, in the reduced style the brand has followed since 2001. Good Design and Red Dot juries have both recognized it.

This reference pairs the white and gold dial with a 43 mm stainless steel case, 20 mm lugs and a cognac strap. Water resistance is 5 bar and the movement is a Sellita SW200 automatic, modified so a single long hand runs without wobble.
