Panova Violet — Black-Gray Calf Leather

Black-gray leather makes the Panova Violet look nearly black from across a room and unmistakably violet up close. That gap is the appeal.

Mühle-Glashütte fits its patented woodpecker neck fine regulation across the range, including here. It is a development of the traditional Glashütte swan-neck in which a shaped spring pins the regulator arm down and sideways at once, so a knock cannot shift the rate. The Panova line, named from panorama and the Latin via, path, gets the same treatment as the tool watches.

The movement is the SW 200-1 Version Mühle, a Swiss automatic reworked in Glashütte, running 41 hours with stop-seconds. The violet ray-cut dial carries Super-LumiNova hands and hour markers and no date. Stainless steel case, 40.0 mm across, 10.4 mm tall, 48.2 mm lug to lug, water resistant to 10 bar, on a 20 mm black-gray calf strap.

Discreet at distance, distinctive on the wrist. A good way to wear an unusual color quietly.
