Panova Turquoise Blue — Cognac Calf Leather

Mühle-Glashütte's own description of the Panova is an all-around everyday watch that works just as well on vacation. The Panova Turquoise Blue is the color that makes the second half of that sentence obvious.

The name comes from panorama and via, the Latin word for path, and the family is built on a single platform, so every version shares a 40.0 mm steel case and the same automatic. What changes is the dial and what you put it on.

Here the turquoise dial, finely ray-cut so it shifts between pale and deep as light moves, sits on smooth cognac calf leather, 20 mm on a steel pin buckle. Hands and hour markers carry Super-LumiNova and there is no date. The case is 10.4 mm tall and 48.2 mm lug to lug, water resistant to 10 bar, with the SW 200-1 Version Mühle automatic inside running 41 hours and hacking for setting.

Warm leather, cool dial, small case. It travels well and does not look out of place at a desk.
