Neo Special Model – light yellow

A light yellow dial is a decision. It is also, on a 36 mm case with a single hand, a surprisingly calm one.

This is the sunniest of the four pastel shades MeisterSinger created for the Neo Special Model, a series that alters nothing but the dial. The case, the domed sapphire crystal, the closed caseback and the Swiss automatic come straight from the standard 36 mm Neo. What changes is the surface: markers laid down in silver gloss over several print layers so they stand slightly proud of the dial, and hour and half-hour markers colored to contrast with the pale ground.

The German brand's single-hand principle governs the rest. One long needle points to the hour among continuous double-digit numerals, and the fine five-minute track around the edge tells you how far into that hour you have traveled, almost to the minute. The 36 mm stainless steel case takes 18 mm lugs, is rated to 5 bar and runs a Sellita SW200 automatic, delivered on a light green velour leather strap.
