NAOS XS white c/gold / Classic cement

Cement-gray leather is an odd thing to put under a white dial, until you see it. This Sternglas NAOS XS pairs a bright face and a gold-toned case with a strap the color of a poured wall, and the result is unexpectedly modern.

The Naos is Sternglas's flagship, the watch that took a German Design Award in 2024 and the clearest expression of what the Hamburg brand means by reduction. The dial carries slim sans-serif markers, three hands and a date, and stops there. Nothing is printed that does not help you read the time.

This is the XS, 33 mm across with 16 mm lugs, the size Sternglas builds for slimmer wrists. A Miyota GL12 quartz caliber runs the watch, with a date window and a battery rated at 36 months. The crystal is domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, and water resistance is 5 ATM. It ships on a Klassik leather strap in cement.

Neutral without being safe, and small enough that the strap color does the talking.
