Warm on warm: a rose gold sunray dial set into a polished rose gold case, with a slim black leather strap as the only interruption. The Sternglas NAOS XS Edition Elyra is a study in what happens when a watch stops arguing with itself.

Elyra was the first time the Naos XS appeared as a classic three-hand design, and Sternglas built it around tone-matching: each sunray dial is finished to echo the case metal rather than oppose it. The screwed caseback is engraved with two magpies and a harp, a nod to the Lyra of Greek myth.

The case measures 33 mm across, the smallest size in the Naos range and made for slimmer wrists, with 16 mm lugs. A Miyota GL12 quartz caliber drives the hands and the date; a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating sits above the dial. Water resistance is 5 ATM. This variant arrives on the classic 16 leather strap in black, whose flat darkness throws the rose gold into relief.

It reads as jewelry from across a room and as an instrument up close, which is a balance Sternglas has been refining since 2016.
