NAOS XL Automatic white silver / Premium 20 brown

Brown leather does something to a white dial that black never manages. It makes it look like daylight rather than paper.

Sternglas has built its range in Hamburg since 2016 on reduction, high contrast and geometric order, and the Naos is where those principles are least compromised. The NAOS XL takes the same dial architecture out to a larger diameter without adding any new information to it, which is harder than it sounds and the reason the design holds together at size.

This is the automatic version, with a white dial and a date inside a polished 316L stainless steel case of 42 mm. A domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating sits over it, and the watch is rated to 5 bar. The brown Premium leather strap at the 20 mm lugs gives the whole thing a mid-century warmth that a steel bracelet would not.
