NAOS XL Automatic white silver / metal strap 20

White dial, steel bracelet, 42 mm. The most conventional-sounding specification in the Naos range, and the one it executes most cleanly.

Sternglas has designed in Hamburg since 2016, and the NAOS is its flagship: a Bauhaus-inspired dial reduced to hands, indices and a date, built into a case with no decoration to distract from either. The NAOS XL enlarges that layout without complicating it, which is why it still reads as a Naos and not as a different watch entirely.

This configuration runs an automatic movement in a polished 316L stainless steel case of 42 mm with 20 mm lugs, beneath a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating. The white dial carries the date, and the watch is rated to 5 bar. Fitted on a 20 mm steel bracelet, it becomes an all-metal proposition, brighter and more reflective than any leather version and considerably easier to clean.

The workhorse of the XL family, equally at ease at a desk, on a plane or under a rolled sleeve.
