NAOS white silver / Premium darkbrown

Straps are the part of a watch that wears out first, which is why Sternglas fits the Naos with a tool-free quick-change system. This one arrives on dark brown leather; changing it later takes a fingernail.

The watch underneath stays the same whatever you put it on. A 38 mm polished 316L steel case on 20 mm lugs, and a white dial reduced to printed markers, sans-serif type and a date. It has been drawn that way since the brand's first year, and it carries a 24-month warranty.

As delivered, the Naos runs the white dial against dark brown Premium leather, one step warmer than black and several steps quieter than tan. A Miyota GR12 quartz movement supplies the time and date. A double-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating covers the dial, and the case is rated to 5 bar.

Dark brown holds a white dial down without darkening it, which is a harder trick than it sounds.
