NAOS sunburst blue silver / Premium black

Most Naos dials are flat on purpose. The sunburst blue is the exception, a radial brushed finish that shifts from deep to bright as the angle changes, and black leather is the strap that lets it perform alone.

The historical Bauhaus school ran from 1919 until 1933, and Sternglas has no institutional connection to it. What the Naos borrows is method rather than lineage: contrast, geometric discipline, sans-serif type, and a dial carrying only a date.

Here the Naos sets its blue sunburst dial in a polished 316L steel case of 38 mm with a black Premium leather strap on 20 mm lugs. A Miyota GR12 quartz movement provides the time and date, on a battery rated for roughly three years. The crystal is double-domed sapphire, anti-reflective on both sides, and the case is water resistant to 5 bar.

In shade it reads as navy. In direct light it opens up. The strap stays black throughout, which is what you want underneath a dial that moves.
