Reduction is the whole argument of the Sternglas NAOS: geometric discipline, unadorned sans-serif type, and nothing printed on the dial that does not help you read it. The brand has worked that way from Hamburg since 2016, and the Naos design took a German Design Award in 2024. Adding a moon phase to a dial built on restraint is a risk, and it works because the complication is drawn in the same quiet language as the rest.

The moon silver dial carries a date alongside the lunar display, driven by a quartz movement inside a 38 mm polished 316L stainless steel case with a domed sapphire crystal and double anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is 5 bar. The Milanaise bracelet is 316L Milanese mesh, 2.5 mm thick and 20 mm at the lugs, with a sliding clasp that adjusts to any wrist size rather than in fixed increments, and a tool-free quick-change fitting at the case.
