NAOS Edition 1905 dark green bronze / Vintage 20 mocha
Mocha leather has a grain that shows its age well, which suits a watch named after a year.
Sternglas issued the NAOS Edition 1905 in tribute to the completion of Hamburg's Speicherstadt in 1905. The satin dark green dial, brushed PVD bronze case and bronze hands with signal-orange accents all draw on the district's brick-and-copper palette, and the caseback is engraved with its Wasserschloss.
This one comes on the Vintage leather strap in mocha, 20 mm at the lugs, a mid-brown that sits between the bronze case and the dark dial instead of competing with either. The 38 mm case holds a double-domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating over a Miyota GR12 quartz movement with date, rated ±20 seconds per month with roughly a three-year battery interval. Water resistance is 5 bar.
It reads as the softest version of the Naos in this edition. Good for someone who wants a warm, worn-in look from the first day rather than the crispness of steel or mesh.
Perfect for: vintage-look leather straps, bronze case watch enthusiasts, warm-toned everyday watches.
