The Sternglas NAOS Big Date takes the brand's most reduced dial and gives the date a size it can genuinely be read at. Naos has been the Hamburg brand's core model since it launched in 2016, and its Bauhaus-inspired layout has always put legibility ahead of ornament.

This version pairs the alabaster dial with a 38 mm silver-tone stainless steel case and a Bridle leather strap in dark brown with a silver buckle, 20 mm at the lugs. A quartz movement handles the timekeeping, which means no winding routine and nothing to reset after a week in a drawer. The crystal is double-domed sapphire with double anti-reflective coating, and water resistance is 5 bar.

A pale dial, a cool case and brown leather is an old arrangement, and it still reads as a considered choice rather than a default one.
