Bengara is an iron-oxide red that has been used on Japanese lacquerware and timber buildings for centuries. It is a warm, earthen color, and it is an unusual thing to find on a diving watch.
This is the G-SHOCK FROGMAN in MR-G specification, finished in that traditional palette. MR-G has been the flagship line since 1996, assembled at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line by one technician per watch.
The case measures 56 by 49.7 mm and 18.6 mm tall, titanium with deep layer hardening and a titanium carbide coating. The asymmetric FROGMAN case is built from separately crafted components, each polished before the watch is assembled, with the bengara tone picking out the detail against the darker metal. ISO 200 meter water resistance, the diving standard. Sapphire crystal, Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio calibration, Bluetooth dive logging, and a Dura Soft fluoro-rubber band.
Warmer and less severe than the black FROGMAN without giving up anything to it. For a diver who would rather not wear the same watch as everyone else.
