MR-G is the G-SHOCK flagship line, running since 1996 and assembled at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line by a single technician per watch. This FROGMAN brings that construction to the only G-SHOCK family built to a diving standard.
The case measures 56 by 49.7 mm and 18.6 mm tall, titanium with deep layer hardening under a diamond-like coating. The asymmetric shape is functional, shielding the crown from impact. Its components are separately crafted and polished before assembly, which is what separates an MR-G FROGMAN from the resin versions. ISO 200 meter water resistance, sapphire crystal, Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio calibration and Bluetooth. The Dura Soft fluoro-rubber band stays supple in cold water.
Noticeably lighter on the wrist than the bracelet version and better suited to being used rather than admired. For someone who bought a dive watch to dive with it.
