The G-SHOCK MR-G line has been the brand's flagship since 1996, assembled at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line. This B5000 pairs that construction with a fluoro-rubber band, which is the version to reach for if a metal bracelet has ever felt like too much watch by the afternoon.
The case is 49.4 by 43.2 by 12.9 mm, titanium with COBARION on the bezel. COBARION is a cobalt-chrome alloy Casio rates at roughly four times the hardness of pure titanium, and it holds a polish that titanium alone cannot. A diamond-like coating covers the rest. The Dura Soft fluoro-rubber band closes on a one-touch three-fold clasp. Sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, Tough Solar charging, and Bluetooth pairing to the CASIO WATCHES app.
The lightest way into the MR-G square, and the easiest to wear for a full day. Good for anyone who wants the finishing without the heft.
