Bright titanium is unforgiving. Every polished face has to meet its neighbor cleanly, because nothing about a silver case hides the joins.
This is the G-SHOCK MR-G octagon in full brightness. MR-G has been the flagship line since 1996, built at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line where one technician assembles each watch end to end, and the B2100 is the slimmest analog-digital case in the range.
The case runs 49.5 by 44.4 mm and 13.6 mm deep. Titanium with COBARION on the bezel, a cobalt-chrome alloy around four times harder than pure titanium, chosen because it holds a mirror finish against daily contact. A titanium carbide coating keeps the surrounding metal bright and hard-wearing. The solid titanium bracelet closes on a tight-lock, one-press three-fold clasp. Sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio calibration and Bluetooth pairing.
The most conventional-looking MR-G octagon and the easiest to place alongside a steel sports watch. It suits a wearer who wants the shape read as jewelry-grade metal rather than as a tool.
