This G-SHOCK MR-G pairs the kachi-iro palette with a fluoro-rubber band. MR-G has been the flagship line since 1996, built at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line, where each watch is assembled start to finish by one technician.
The case measures 54.7 by 49.8 by 16.9 mm, in titanium with deep layer hardening under a diamond-like coating, the navy reading as near-black until light catches it directly. The Dura Soft fluoro-rubber band is softer against the skin than a bracelet and closes on a one-touch three-fold clasp. Sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, Tough Solar, Multi Band 6 and Bluetooth.
Lighter and more wearable than the bracelet version, with nothing given up in the case. For someone who wants an MR-G that disappears into a day rather than dominating it.
