Bengara is the iron-oxide red that colors Japanese lacquerware and the timber of old buildings. Set against green-tinted metal and gold, it makes an unusually warm G-SHOCK.
MR-G is the flagship line, introduced in 1996 and assembled at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line by a single technician per watch. This B2000 takes its palette entirely from traditional Japanese craft.
The case measures 54.7 by 49.8 mm and 16.9 mm deep, titanium with deep layer hardening, a green diamond-like coating over parts of the case and a diamond-like coating elsewhere, so the tone shifts between components rather than sitting flat. A solid titanium bracelet closes on a tight-lock, one-press three-fold clasp. Sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio calibration and Bluetooth.
Warmer and more decorative than the rest of the B2000 family without losing the toughness underneath. For a wearer who wants an MR-G with an obvious point of view.
