Not every metal G-SHOCK needs to be the largest one available. The B1000 is the mid-size MR-G, and it solves a problem the bigger cases cannot.
MR-G is the G-SHOCK flagship, introduced in 1996 and assembled at Yamagata Casio on the Premium Production Line, one technician to each watch. This is the compact case in the family, finished in black.
It measures 52.2 by 46.3 mm and stands 14.7 mm tall, in titanium with deep layer hardening beneath a diamond-like coating for a dark, hard surface that resists scratching. A solid titanium bracelet closes on a tight-lock, one-press three-fold clasp. Sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio calibration and Bluetooth pairing to the CASIO WATCHES app. The construction is also magnetic resistant.
Meaningfully smaller on the wrist than the B2000 without looking like a reduced version of it. For anyone who wants a full metal G-SHOCK that fits under a shirt cuff.
