White dial, diamonds, polished steel bracelet. The MINASE Luna Arch in this configuration is the brightest thing the brand makes, and almost all of that brightness comes from surfaces rather than color.

The Luna Arch was introduced in 2023 as one of MINASE's first designs built explicitly around elegance. Instead of the case-in-case construction used across the mechanical collections, it uses a clamping structure borrowed from jewelry making: the bezel clasps the sapphire crystal from above the way a setting clasps a stone, and the curve of the crystal remains visible through the gap between bezel and case. The dial pattern is taken from light reflecting at random off the Minase River, so it glitters from whatever angle it is caught.

This Stone-clamped reference sets diamonds into the design and comes on a steel bracelet. The diamond case measures 31.3 mm wide, 37.1 mm long including the lugs and 8.7 mm thick. Inside is a Miyota calibre 2036 quartz movement made in Japan, with a battery life of approximately three years, chosen so the watch stays accurate and slim rather than demanding a winding habit.

Rated 5 atm, it handles weather and hand-washing but should not go swimming. On a smaller wrist the white dial keeps the whole thing looking light despite the steel.
