There is a particular pleasure in a watch you can read at three in the morning without reaching for a phone. That is what the LUMATIK is for.

Sternglas's newest core family was designed around its luminous material from the start, at the request of the brand's own community. Luminova is applied in two tones, white and orange, so hands and markers stay distinct in the dark instead of merging. A German Design Award followed in 2025.

The light blue dial is paired with silver-tone hands, baton indices and a date window at six, in a 38 mm stainless steel case with 20 mm lugs. The movement is the Miyota 8315, an automatic with hacking seconds, hand-winding and a 60-hour reserve, visible through a screwed glass caseback with blued screws and a skeletonized rotor. Double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both sides sits on top; the case is rated to 5 bar. The Premium leather strap here is black.

Black leather keeps it formal enough for a desk and dark enough to disappear once the lights go out.
