HAMBURG new graphite silver / Bridle 20 dark brown

Dark brown leather against a graphite dial is a quieter contrast than black on black, and it gives this Sternglas HAMBURG a slightly older, more worn-in character from the first day.

Sternglas has designed in Hamburg since 2016 and reserves its most legible dials for the collection that carries the city's name. Bolder numerals, a fine printed minute track and luminous hands are the HAMBURG signature; new graphite is one of the standard dial colors in that family rather than a limited run.

The graphite satin dial is gently domed and set into a 42 mm silver-tone stainless steel case with 20 mm lugs, driven by a quartz movement with a date display and protected by double-domed sapphire under double anti-reflective coating. The rating is 5 bar. The Bridle strap is a thick dark brown leather, and the brown warms the case where black would only sharpen it.
