G-SHOCK GW-9400-1 - RANGEMAN
The RANGEMAN was built to a survival brief rather than a sports one, which is why its buttons are large enough to work with gloves on.
It belongs to G-SHOCK's Master of G family, where each line answers one environment. The GW-9400 carries a triple sensor for compass bearing, altitude and temperature, plus a barometer, in a case with the sensor button raised clear of the guards so it can be found without looking.
All black with a positive LCD and red on the sensor button, in a resin case 55.2 by 53.5 mm and 18.2 mm deep at 93 grams. Module 3410 runs on Tough Solar and calibrates over Multi Band 6 radio from six transmitters, with world time, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, alarms and a full auto-calendar. 200 m water resistant.
Never set, never charged, and readable in daylight. The RANGEMAN in its original configuration.
