The GST-S100G belongs to G-SHOCK's G-STEEL line, built on the layered guard structure that puts a steel bezel over an inner resin case so impact never reaches the module directly. It is one of the earlier references in the line and among the largest, which suits an all-black treatment.
Black across the face and band, in a case 59.1 by 52.4 mm and 16.1 mm deep at 97 grams. Two hands run over the digital display with a hand shift feature to move them clear, lit by a double LED. Module 5445 is Tough Solar powered and covers 31 time zones, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, alarms and a full auto-calendar. 200 m water resistant.
Big, dark and solar. Nothing on it needs your attention once it is set.
