An all-black steel bracelet is a harder finish to get right than a bare one, because ion plating has to survive the same abuse the steel does.
The GST-B1000BD is the blacked-out version of G-SHOCK's current G-STEEL reference case, using the layered guard structure with a steel bezel over a carbon-bio inner case and Carbon Core Guard beneath. The bracelet is solid stainless steel with a one-touch three-fold clasp, finished dark to match.
Black across the dial and bracelet, in a case 46.9 by 44.2 mm and 11.6 mm deep at 118 grams, with a screw-lock crown. Three hands over 24-hour and day sub-dials, with a date window and Neobrite on the markers. Module 5748 runs on Tough Solar and sets itself from the CASIO WATCHES app over Bluetooth. 200 m water resistant.
The most formal thing in the G-STEEL line, and the one that reads least like a G-SHOCK across a table.
