The GM-2110D takes the G-SHOCK 2100 Series octagon, adds a stainless steel bezel and a solid steel bracelet with a one-touch three-fold clasp, and leaves the resin case underneath to absorb what the metal transmits. This is the heaviest configuration the standard 2100 comes in, at 146 grams.
Silver throughout, face included, so the dial reads as brightly as the bracelet and the black hands and LCD provide the only contrast. The case is 49.3 by 44.4 mm and 11.8 mm deep. Two hands over the digital display with a hand shift feature to clear them, Neobrite markers, double LED. Module 5611 carries 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five alarms, three years to a battery. 200 m water resistant.
The brightest watch in the 2100 line, and the one that most rewards a close look.
