Blue on a G-SHOCK is usually loud. Layered across a grey-blue face and a silver steel bracelet, it turns out it does not have to be.
The GM-2110D is a 2100 Series model with a stainless steel bezel and a solid steel bracelet on a one-touch three-fold clasp, over a resin case that keeps the shock structure doing its job. The bracelet is what separates this reference from the rest of the metal-clad 2100s, and what takes it to 146 grams.
The face runs blue and light blue against silver, 49.3 by 44.4 mm and 11.8 mm deep. Two analog hands sit over an LCD with a hand shift feature to move them clear, Neobrite on the markers, and a double LED lighting both. Module 5611 covers 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five alarms, on a three-year battery. 200 m water resistant.
The colorway that gets asked about. Reads dressy at arm's length, entirely a G-SHOCK up close.
