Gold on a G-SHOCK usually arrives as a full-gold statement. Here it is confined to the bezel, and the restraint is the whole idea.
The GM-2100LXB is a 2026 addition to the 2100 Series, metal-clad in the usual way: a stainless steel bezel over a resin case, on a band made from biomass plastics. The 2100 shape is thin enough that a bright bezel reads as a detail rather than as the point of the watch.
Gold-tone bezel over black, 49.3 by 44.4 mm and 11.8 mm deep, 72 grams. Two hands over an LCD with the hand shift feature to clear them, Neobrite on the markers, and a double LED lighting both the face and the digital display. Module 5611 carries 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms, accurate to fifteen seconds a month on a three-year battery. 200 m water resistant.
Dressier than a G-SHOCK has any right to be, and still rated to 200 metres.
