G-SHOCK GG-B100XM-1A - MUDMASTER
Swap the carbon bezel for stainless steel and the MUDMASTER stops looking like climbing equipment and starts looking like something else entirely.
The GG-B100XM is a MUDMASTER in G-SHOCK's Master of G family, on the Carbon Core Guard case with the line's mud-resistant button structures, fitted with bare steel bezel components in place of the carbon ones. That takes it to 104 grams against the carbon version's 93.
Polished steel guards and crown against a black case and band, with red accents on the dial and the crown protector, in a case 55.4 by 51.3 mm and 19.4 mm deep, under a spherical mineral crystal. Module 5744 runs compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer, step tracking, world time, a stopwatch, a timer and alarms, with Bluetooth to the CASIO WATCHES app. 200 m water resistant.
The bright metal catches light on every guard. It reads far more mechanical than the carbon model.
