The GG-1000 is a MUDMASTER in G-SHOCK's Master of G family, built for ground work: protected button structures and a case designed to keep grit out rather than simply keep water in. It is the reference that set the line's proportions.
Black face against a beige resin band, in a case 56.2 by 55.3 mm and 17.3 mm deep at 94 grams, over a steel-reinforced resin construction. Module 5476 gives a twin sensor for compass bearing and temperature, world time across 31 zones, a stopwatch, a countdown timer and alarms, on a two-year battery. Neobrite on the hands. 200 m water resistant.
Reads as field kit rather than sports kit, and the beige hides what the black shows.
