G-SHOCK GA-2100LXB-1A - Analog-Digital Octagon
Seven years after the 2100 launched, the interesting changes are no longer to the shape. They are to what the shape is made of.
The GA-2100LXB is a 2026 release in G-SHOCK's 2100 Series, with a Carbon Core Guard case combining carbon-reinforced and bio-based resin, and a band made from biomass plastics. The structure and the silhouette are unchanged, which is the point of a material revision done properly.
Black on black, 45.4 mm across, 11.8 mm deep, 51 grams. Skeleton hands over the LCD, Neobrite on the markers, and a double LED lighting the face and the digital display separately. Module 5611 covers 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms, running three years on a pair of cells at fifteen seconds a month. 200 m water resistant.
The current-production plain black 2100, and the one to buy if you want the newest version of the standard.
