The DW-5600AKA sits in G-SHOCK's 5600 Series, the square that has run in a straight line from the DW-5000C of 1983. The case is resin and bio-based resin, the band is moulded from biomass plastics, and the shape is the one the whole brand is built on.
Red across the case, band and face, in a case 48.9 by 42.8 mm and 13.4 mm deep at 53 grams. The LED backlight is a Super Illuminator with afterglow. Module 3525 runs a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, a multi-function alarm and a full auto-calendar, on a five-year battery. 200 m water resistant.
Saturated end to end. A single-colour square is the most direct thing G-SHOCK makes.
