The workshop sits in the town of Minase, some 600 km north of Tokyo, among conifer forest and clear rivers, under enough winter snow to close the roads. MINASE compares the setting to a small village in the Swiss Jura and uses the word terroir for it without irony. Its stated position is that this level of finishing can be achieved only by hand, never through mass production.

Reference VM07-C10SDD is the diamond-set FIVE WINDOWS Mid on a leather strap, around 67.3 g, in a case 32 mm wide, 40.3 mm long and 11.6 mm thick including the crystal. Sapphire panes in the case sides and a sapphire display back join the front crystal. The self-winding caliber KT8001 with date sits inside, a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base finished by MINASE. 5 atm.
