MINASE is explicit that the FIVE WINDOWS Mid is not aimed at one kind of wearer. Its own copy says the model suits every type of lifestyle, regardless of age and gender, and works for business occasions. The diamond-set version does not change that brief. It adds stones to it.

The Mid arrived in 2017, shrinking the vertical dimension of the Windows case by roughly 15 percent while keeping the architecture whole. That architecture is case-in-case: the movement in an inner case, a curved dial above it, an index ring fastened over that, and an outer case around everything. Sapphire windows at the front, in the sides and across the back let light reach the dial from several directions.

Reference VM07-C06SDD is the Stone-clamped (Diamond) FIVE WINDOWS Mid on leather, roughly 67.3 g, in a case 32 mm by 40.3 mm and 11.6 mm thick with the crystal. Inside is the self-winding caliber KT8001 with date, built on a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base and finished in Akita. Rated 5 atm.
