Ordinary buffing on a soft wheel rounds edges and leaves a faintly wavy reflection. Sallaz polishing, a Swiss-origin technique MINASE revived and adapted, works the surface against a hard rotating plate charged with fine diamond dust, so each face stays planar and the corners survive. The brand reports roughly 45 separate polishing operations across the 14 faces of a Windows case, and says a single part can absorb up to 90 minutes.

Reference VM07-C10SD-KPK is the leather-strap FIVE WINDOWS Mid, roughly 66.3 g, with a case 32 mm wide, 40.3 mm long and 11.6 mm thick including the crystal. Sapphire sits at the front, in the case sides and over the display back. The self-winding caliber KT8001 with date runs inside, a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base finished by MINASE. Water resistance is 5 atm.
