Thirty-two millimeters sounds small until you understand how a square case wears. The MINASE FIVE WINDOWS Mid measures 32 mm across but 40.3 mm top to bottom, so it covers the wrist like a considerably larger round watch while keeping a tight footprint.

MINASE introduced the Mid in 2017, reducing the vertical dimension of its Windows case by around 15 percent while keeping the design and the functions intact. The company positions it for every type of lifestyle, regardless of age and gender, and specifically for business occasions. The windows remain where they were: the front crystal, the sapphire display back, and sapphire panes set into the case sides.

Reference VM07-C06SD-KBL is the FIVE WINDOWS Mid on a leather strap, about 66.3 g all in, and 11.6 mm thick with the crystal counted. The self-winding caliber KT8001 with date sits inside, built on a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base and finished by MINASE, under sapphire with a non-reflective coating. Rated 5 atm.

It fits under a cuff without disappearing, which is a harder trick than it sounds.
