FIVE WINDOWS Mid Leather model [VM07-C02WD-KDB]

On leather, the FIVE WINDOWS Mid weighs about 66.3 g. That is roughly half the bracelet version, and it changes how the watch behaves. It stops announcing itself and simply sits there. MINASE built this case for exactly that kind of wear.

The FIVE WINDOWS name refers to real openings. Sapphire panes in the case sides, a sapphire display back and the front crystal let light in from several angles, following MINASE’s stated concept of admiring a Japanese garden from inside a box, with the scenery outside projected onto the dial. The case-in-case structure holds the round dial and its index ring within the squared outer case.

Reference VM07-C02WD-KDB is the leather-strap FIVE WINDOWS Mid, in a case 32 mm wide, 40.3 mm long and 11.6 mm thick including the crystal. The movement is the self-winding caliber KT8001 with date, a Swiss ETA 2671 / Sellita SW100 base finished by MINASE and visible through the sapphire back. Water resistance is 5 atm, for rain and splashes rather than swimming.
